Touching the face of God with the help of Peggy and Ron

Oh so many reasons.  My admiration for Ronald Reagan has many folds.

Using his angry grandfather voice telling Gorby, "Tear Down This Wall!".  While he is standing at
the greatest icon of all that is wrong with communism.  Moxie by Morals. Spiritual Conviction.   He knew what was right and what was wrong.

The air traffic controllers and their union.  Yes, it is nice you want to strike, but that holds up an
entire nation from getting work done.  So get your asses back to work and negotiate while you work
or don't let the door hit your ass.  They called his bluff and without hesitation and true to his word that door hit their asses.  I don't know if his decision was right, but he was true to his word.

What I remember the most is the space shuttle Challenger disaster.  I was 13 years old at school.  This was still when the program was young and captured the fascination of youth.  Every launch
was played live in our school library and the students where all brought down to watch.  A few
of our teachers where in the contest to be the first teacher in space so we were all very active in following NASA.

And that night, still numb from what I had witnessed and not having answers to what happened,
President Reagan takes over the television.  To me he was like the grandfather I never had, as mine passed away years before.  And he made my world right with simply saying, "We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them, this morning, as they prepared for the journey and waved goodbye and 'slipped the surly bonds of earth' to 'touch the face of God.'"

I had never heard such perfect words to my ears.  He was the first wordsmith in my life.  He was
A Christmas Story come to life.  Such beauty.  I would only find out later that his words came from
John Magee, an American flying in World War II with the RCAF.

"High Flight"

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
- Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Peggy Noonan was one of if not Reagan's main speech writers.  She also wrote for George Bush.  She is the wordsmith that made a young boy feel better that night.  They say there is a women behind every great man.  President Reagan had the benefit of two great women his wife Nancy and his speechwriter Peggy.  Take the time to read Peggy Noonan's books.  Her writings are amazing.

Conspiracy Abounds

I have come to the conclusion that America is governed by one long conspiracy since 2008. Secrecy on the part of the government and misinformation to the people being conspired against. The government hides its infraction of the laws and the willing blindness of the people make it possible. If you look back over the past five years of legislative and executive history and set aside media interpretation of events, the picture is crystal clear.

Now and then a member of Congress awakens from public pressure to the vague sense of the dangers that threaten us and ventures to hold a hearing or introduce a resolution calling upon the President for information, but the vigilance is brought down by and immediate disinformation campaign on five networks and universally across social media where the member is labeled a rogue, racist, or extremist. Every member who has no let himself be beat down into an uncomplaining wilting mold of John McCain is denounce Salem-style hour by hour every day every network with party talking points. The Bully pulpit beat down with the modern twist of a multi-media powered baseball bat to silence dissent from the unconstitutional deeds of the conspirators. Anyone speaking of the administration must do so with unreasoned praise or risk direct attack sometimes even directed at them by the President himself.

To a person of common sense there is no proof needed because it has unfolded week after week, year after year that the Obama presidency is has a case of malignant secrecy requiring health care insurance and it has determined it should cover up its acts and has laid a deep conspiracy to cover up its lies and and laws against Liberty. And we knows of the Department of Homeland Security through its own documents that all who are not for socialism, must be restrained of their liberty. That is a conspiracy.  All who demand that constitutional law be respected are labeled as "ethno-national separatists". No tyrant wants his deeds discussed or his designs to come to light. These are fatal to tyrants. Slowly but surely through the hard work of journalists the evidence pile has become overwhelming and the conspiracy picture is more clear. His assumptions of executive power are only made more ridiculous due to his claims of being a constitutional scholar.

The laws, instead of being administered, are suspended by a wave of the magical executive power wand. Enforcing immigration law is not important to the administration, so they refuse to enforce it. That is conspiracy. By a Senate rule change, the liberty of every person will soon be in the hands of socialist judges all across the nation. That is conspiracy.

In the 2014 elections· the people must loudly and emphatically state that these things must cease. They will no longer be governed by conspiracy, but by laws and will no longer permit constitutional liberties to be put down by Congress, President, or Court.

Harry Reid and the Chamber of Secrets

It would be better for the Senate to sit for an entire month every session than to pass the Cloture Rule.
So a horrible thought that the gentlemen must sit and patiently wait.  Instead of being slightly inconvenienced, as happens in a Republic, the Democrats choose to shut down the discussion of important subjects and pen other channels for their discussion.  This is precisely why today the Senate changed the cloture rule and simultaneously a gaggle of liberal reports left a meeting at the White House undoubtedly with stacks of talking points to sell this move to the public and then refocus them on immigration and off of Obamacare. This move is nothing but the beginning of the Democratic Party attempting to salvage the 2014 election via a legislature version of slight of hand.
The Senate also today approved the appointment of Patricia Ann Millett to the United States Circuit  for the District of Columbia.  Millett is the atypical progressive and has argued against proof of citizenship and picture identification for election voting.

Ghosts of Okinawa

My thoughts are haunted when I think of 416,800 American servicemen dead from fighting for freedom for the entire world from 1941 to 1945.  They were wrong earlier in the century, World War II was the Great War.  To put that in perspective, just wipe the city of Miami, Florida off the map.  That is how many Americans died just for the concept that all men deserve to be free.  Hitler and Japan got out of hand and we didn't want to get involved, we were glad to build war machines for
our allies and make money until Japan poked us in the chest.  It was coming, but now obvious we
will have to enter the war and save the world from becoming slaves of a new form of socialism, a national democratic socialism that was sweeping Europe for a few decades.

Our great uncles and great grandfathers fought to the death in places called Okinawa, the Ardennes
, Sicily, Palermo, Iwo Jima, Kasserine, and Tunisia.  They fought hard and to the death.  They fought
with hope of reinforcements and with knives when the ammo ran out.  The Germans called our Marines; devil dogs.  And in the lifetime since then, those men came back and perhaps too relaxed,
let freedom start to slip away at home.  Perhaps, they saw enough fighting and had enough.  Many of the younger ones would have to turn around in a few years and head out to Korea to try to stop the spread of communism.  They did.  To this day South Korea remains free.

For reasons I will not bother to outline again their great grand children are now starting to vote for the first few times in their lives and we are seeing the full affect of a teachers union loaded with progressives who have transformed the process of indoctrinization or Americanization of children from waving the flag and carrying on the torch, to one of socialization and the blind acceptance of a conceptual New World Order where everything is peaches and cream.  No one needs a gun to be free and everyone has a home, food, and health care.  You don't have to work unless you want to.

If you vote  are younger than thirty and vote democrat or call yourself liberal or progressive
then for the sake of your forefathers re-evaluate and talk to your parents or elders and seek out other sources of knowledge.  The truth is you have been lied to and are the voting Manchurian candidate.

If you are a conservative, its time think more like a libertarian and remember a society will never be in your image or the image of your God.  We are a society of many races and religions that must compromise or fail.  Remember abortion for example, should not even be a national issue,  the Constitution supports that abortion should be a State issue, yet the Constitution has been hi-jacked.
You need to push for fixing the hole in the pipe before you choose what new faucet goes on the sink.

Open Letter to the RNC

November 8, 2013

Mr. Reince Priebus
Chairman, Republican National Committee
310 1st Street, SE
Washington, DC 20003

Dear Chairman Priebus,

On behalf of millions of Tea Party members that are fully wanting to support the Republic party in 2014, I am writing in support of the RNC making it known that we will not blindly support Republican candidates in the 2014 election.

The following is a comprehensive list of the current members of Congress we will be targeting for the 2014 elections:

L. Alexander, M. Begich, S. Collins, C. Coons, J. Corynyn, R. Durbin, A. Franken, L. Graham,
K. Hagan, T. Harkin, M. Landreiu, J. McCain, M. McConnell, J. Merkley, M. Pryor, J. Reed,
J. Rockefeller, J. Shaheen, T. Udall, M. Udall, M. Warner

Since 2008, the RNC has tried to minimize our input and our significance. We will have you know we are the voting base of this party and regardless of neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, stays the Tea Party from the swift execution of our voice and vote.  We will not be silenced by mockery, by media, or by RNC.  It is time the RNC start focusing on the U.S. Constitution and less on compromise and alternative offers.  It is not the job of the People to offer alternatives to communist programming.  The alternative should always be a simple "Yes, our alliterative was written more over two centuries ago." followed by an offer to translate the Constitution.

Yet the Republican Party would rather shave a bit of Constitution here and there just for the re-election of a candidate.  We say enough and if it contuse, we say Good-day, Sir.  Gun Control and now Health Care have been high-jacked by the progressives and weaseled under the guise of commerce to render the Bill of Rights obsolete. Make no mistake, the first government officials to knock on doors for the purpose of taking weapons will end up casualties caused by the bitter stench of familiarity of the two majority political parties in this Nation.  Their blood may be on the Peoples porches, but it will be on the government's hands

On Immigration, the RNC is eager to formulate an alternative and compromise rather than simple stand by the fact that the U.S. has had, does have, and always will have the most generous immigration policy in the world.  It has worked for 235 years.  It takes times for people of other cultures to acclimate to becoming American.  There is no reason they cannot come here legally and put in the time and effort to show they are worthy of being a member of this great society.  Yet, the democrats want to expand their voting base and the RNC is afraid to just give away 35 million potential voters that the rest of America is already positive will never, in a majority, support the Republican platform.

The time has come to take a copy of the Constitution and roll it up and start slamming it down on the desks of progressives  If you slam it hard enough with great effort and consistency it will ring out like thunder.  Gun Control, Education, and Abortion should be issues handled by the several States, not by DC. Immigration simply needs to have the current laws enforced.

Best Regards,

Every non-progressive that is not a politician
